Swm splitter work with fta dish

I have directv right now and they installed a swm 4 way splitter will that work with a fta dish ?

I assume you mean using that in FTA instead of Directv?
The SWM splitter will work with a bandstacked LNB but not a regular LNB (unless you plan on getting same polarity on all receivers)
 
Yes I wanted to send the signal from the fta dish to two different rooms the easiest way possible as the 3x4 multiswitch I have may not work
