SWM technology and birdog 3.0

Hello everyone,
im preparing to do a SWM satellite dish installation with a slimline with one wire SWM technology this will be my 1st time with a SWM. Im very familliar with the multiswitch slimline dish with 4 output and my birdog was always able to do the job correectly. now my question, will it be the same for thw SWM slimline will my birdog be able to do the job. if not what can i do in order to make it work ?

Nope you need either a splitter or ASL to align the odu.

thanks for your reply, what you mean exactly by a splitter, why a splitter, what do you mean by odu. im sorry I dont know those terms, can you please explain me step by step on what to do.

Okay i made some research i wil need a 2 way splitter power passing. heres my question will i need to plug the receiver turn it on and the coax from the receiver will need to be in the output of the splitter or i absolutely need the swm odu.
