Does anybody know what is tested when the System Info is selected?

My satellites normally show green, but sometimes will display yellow or even a red X, but everything still works.

I have 119, 110, and 61.5

You might have LNB Drift. If the drift isn't too bad, then things will still work. However, it is possible over time that the drift will get worse and you will lose programming. It would be better to get this problem addressed now instead of being without service a few days while awaiting a tech.

LNB drift

Regarding LNB drift -- does anybody know the lot numbers of the LNBs that are prone to drift.

I've noticed I have 2 different LNB lot numbers -- W611 & W72B (the w has a circle around it on the 72B.) All are made in China.

The DPP Twins with the thinner housing had problems with drift attributable to heat. Apparently the newer, thicker ones have heatsinks on them.

Thanks for the info.

So the drift issue didn't affect the single & dual PRO LNBs.

Good to know. One less thing to worry about.
