I'm definitely no expert but just over 1/5th of a second seems ok.
OK, thanks FTA4PA. The slow speed I am having is when I open a Chrome SatGuys icon on my cell phone home screen it is slow to open. Most times it takes about 2 seconds to open. A lot of times it takes about 6 seconds to open and sometimes up to about 10 seconds to open. Another Chrome forum icon I have on my home screen opens less than a second. Might be an issue with my cell phone. No telling what it is. I am just glad SatGuys opens.

Thanks fellow members. I see it. Feel like a dumb ass. Going to make an eye doc appointment!
No biggie! Many times I've looked right at something and didn't see what I should have. Happens to all of us! :)
Yup; I'm one of those too. i went back and forth between Scott's post and the bottom looking and looking for the stats, before I got real close to my monitor and saw it.

Part of the issue is some of these mobile browsers are not sending you directly to SatelliteGuys, they are taking you to other servers first. Some companies say this is in the name of privacy, others say they are putting you through their VPN. Whatever it is its likely to slow down your connection to use as you are not coming her directly. And unfortunately this is not something we control.

OK, thanks Scott. Is there something I can do or change so it opens faster? My laptop SatGuys is slower to open too but it is faster than my mobile phone. Is it my cable company that could be the issue? I think it started the slowness when you did that major update before this last one you just did. I will turn off my Internet in my cell phone and go thru the Verizon network. I have unlimited data plan so no biggy. Will let you know how goes it.

Since Wednesday pages are loading very slowly for me. (Windows 10 computer) And hitting reply really takes a long time. In addition after it finally does go through I get kicked either up to the top of the page, or out of the thread back to the thread listings.

For those wondering what the proxy is...

We run Engintron for cPanel/WHM integrates the popular Nginx® web server as a "reverse caching proxy" in front of Apache.

This runs GREAT most of the time until something in the cache get corrupt.

This is an external program, which many many sites use. However Cpanel has recently built in their own Nginx Proxy which I have not moved us to yet as some things don't work properly in it. (Minor things... but things we have working now,)

Scott,
This seems as good a spot to put this in, since the behavior changed with one of your updates.

Can you make it so Media does not activate immediately upon selection? I ask because I notice when using my iPad or iPhone that if I unintentionally come into contact with a video while scrolling the screen, the video starts playing, even though I'm scrolling the page.

This is what I may be doing tomorrow night. NGINX with Reverse Proxy | cPanel & WHM Documentation

Foxbat don't know the answer to that one. But there is a new version of the software released on Thursday that suppose to fix a bunch of bugs. I didn't look over the bug list but maybe that's one of them. :)

I may do this update now, should only take a moment or two.

It may be a different issue, more YouTube's fault than XenForo. I've now noticed on different Apps that if I accidentally touch a YouTube embedded video while scrolling, it starts playing that video.
