Tablo Died?

While using my four tuner Tablo it died on me. I tried everything on the web to try. I even tried another wall wart with no luck. No light will come on at all. Any ideas?

I just got one a month ago after my beloved Romio developed issues. One of the things I read was how they died. I haven't been impressed with it so far. May try to replace the fan myself.

After trying everything the internet suggested I ordered a replacement. My warrant has already ran out. I just did a rescan and out it went.

There is no fan in Tablo

Fan repair is for the Romio.

I have been reading about the Zapperbox since they came out. While I have not yet purchased it, the reviews here on our forum and elsewhere are overwhelmingly positive.

Check the power supply brick, try replacing it if you have another laying around at least the same or higher wattage

The Tablo works with the online channels, just not the OTA channels. On 9/16 it rescanned and picked up 132 channels. Now it will not pick up any. The online channels still work fine. I double checked the cables and even hooked the cable to my TV and it worked fine there. I have sent in a support request and they replied back with some steps to do. I did these and it still will not work. I am waiting for their reply back.

This is way out of my price range. plus I don't care about ATSC 3.0 stations being I will never get them where I live at. I am looking at the HDHomerun Flex Quatro.

The Tablo works with the online channels, just not the OTA channels. On 9/16 it rescanned and picked up 132 channels. Now it will not pick up any. The online channels still work fine. Try this: disconnect the coax antenna cable from the Tablo completely. Do a channel scan (to clear the matrix) until it finishes (if it'll run at all this way). Then, re-connect the coax to it, and run another channel scan and see what happens.

Tablo responded back a second time and this is what they had be do. It still would not work.

I certainly understand the price range situation which would be the main reason I have not tried it yet. The Zapperbox does get ATSC 1.0 channels. I wish they would make a less expensive 1.0 only version.
