Tailgating and ESPN HD

Tailgating at the OSU vs USC game since I can't afford $1,000 ticket prices. I have a HR22 HD DVR and an old Hughes HD receiver along with an old single lnb dish, Phase 2 w/2 Dual LNB's and SAT C Kit for 101,110,119. and a slimline phase 3 triple lnb with integrated switch.

So with this equipment anyway I can get ESPN HD since it is still mpeg2(i think)??? or do I need the newer 5 LNB HD dish?

You need a Slimline 3 or one of these for the best tailgate espn HD.

start at post 6 and look at the picture in post 7.

ESPN is still MPEG-2 from the 110 sat on channel 73. You should be able to use your 101/110/110 dish and either receiver to receive ESPN-HD on channel 73 as well as ESPN2-HD on channel 72 from the 119 sat. When the day comes that the MPEG-2 stream is shut off, Matt9876's dish will be the only way to go and you'll need to use your HR22. Good luck!
