OTHER TBS satellite card

So I have an extra PC sitting around and I want to take a stab at hooking the c-band to the computer. There is 1 used TBS DVBS2 TBS-6920 for sale on eBay. How is yalls experience with that card and wold you buy it used or would you get a new one of a mother model or mfg? Thanks.

Whelp, I put in a low ball offer before I posted this and the seller accepted so I got me a TBS DVBS2 TBS-6920. Was that a waste or will it be good teachings?

Never had that model, but it might be fun to explore the DirecTV satellites for any FTA channels. It is limited to 8psk, so it isn't future proof and there there may be some services that it will not lock. Other than that, it should bring in most popular FTA services.

Oh ok good, that should be fine. I knew it wasn't going to handle some of the new stuff but it should be able to do what I could do on my microHD so that work. For $35 shipped that sounds reasonable! Thanks Brian
