If the DPH42 is ready, the DIRT team is unaware of it. I just tried to upgrade my two Hoppers and DIRT didn't know anything about it.

So, is Dish simply rolling out the CUI to the 622/722 series, and calling that a "Hopper Lite"?
If the base Flex Pack is eliminated, will the Channel Packs be made available as add-ons for Welcome Pack?
If it's true with flex pack that's a bummer, nice package for those that don't want everything.

With this news about Flex Pack, maybe that means BBCW & those Viacom music channels, will FINALLY get added to at least one AT pkg...
I was wondering the same thing, whether the Viacom music video channels would become a new Channel Pack, or whether Dish would just drop them completely.
It exists - someone in Puerto Rico has posted that it's available and in use there.
You can do limited commercial field tests until the cows come home and not have patent infringement issues.

Goes to further support the idea that Dish is being put up for
sale.
It does absolutely no good to take on subscribers they will not make a decent profit on.
Besides that it's a pain to sell, it's so much easier when the customer has less choices.
Just search for Dish Network, should be the first result.
