i was wondering about what happened to the tech updates page it would keep you up to date on new released software for dish receivers.

All you need to do is read the last page for the latest updates. There are almost 45,000 views so people are interested.

BTW, I'm volunteering to do that job. As a matter of fact, I would love to stop doing it.

Appreciate the effort, but the thread really isn't user friendly. For a receiver that doesn't get software updates frequently, one may have to scan backwards through dozens of pages. The other link in this thread is much more useful, though, how up-to-date it is may be open to discussion.

Looks like the page linked in post 6 is current though I find the version at DISH Network -- Support -- Technical easier to read. I refer to it and RandallA's thread to maintain EKB: Dish Network Receiver Software Versions which has links to software release history and receiver information. Recent releases there will have a "new" flag for at least 10 days.
