Telefutura in Buffalo or Cleveland

Hi,

I have a DTV sub in Toronto Canada, my billing and service address is in NYC. I can't get Telefutura b/c in NYC its a local channel and its on a spot beam, this also means that I can't get the national feed intended for markets that do not have an equivalent local channel.

If I "moved" service to Buffalo or Cleveland, will I get this channel? (either from the national feed, or from the local spot beam feed)

After doing some reading, DTV Buffalo locals can be accessed from Toronto and I'm pretty sure that Cleveland's can as well.

Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Buffalo gets TFT on channel 408 as part of the locals.

DIRECTV - Local Channels

So does cleveland.

That's weird, because Buffalo doesn't have an OTA channel for that network.

I think they use a national feed for markets without TFT via OTA.

While that D* channel list shows it as available on 408 to Cleveland subs, it is not available.

correct. Markets with no Telefutura they use the Nat'l feed

But just an FYI - you ONLY get that feed in these markets, IF you get an espanol pkg.
I know that in both my market & St.Louis, TFT does NOT come as part of the local ch pkgs, even though the D* website lists it in the local ch lists.
