Telmo & Tula served up to US
NEWS BRIEF: Motion Pictures and Barcelona-based Anera Films have sold Telmo & Tula – Little Cooks to VOOM HD Networks in the US, while the companies' other joint project, Boom & Reds, has sold to Korea.
Telmo & Tula – Little Cooks (52x7'), which has been picked up by VOOM's Animania HD, is a cooking show conducted by two animated brothers who show children how to prepare recipes safely.
Motion Pictures claimed the series is the first 3D high-definition animated show to be sold by a foreign company in the US. Both Motion Pictures and Anera Films have switched to HDTV for all their productions.
Elsewhere, Boom & Reds (104x4'), the preschool series about a friendly ogre called Boom and mushroom-headed creatures called Reds, has been acquired by C4U Media in Korea.
