Temporary good channels...

I saw on lyngsat 99W two channel marked "F"...I put a lnb shared dish with 105W and got CNN and E!.

Now CNN is no more free! ohh...no...I ask myself..how long the channel was there and I had not noticed!

And there were in lyngsat and the list! is not updated!

Also same stuff on 93W already is scrambled (CNN)... Nobody talks about it if not in lyngsat, then we lose the opportunity to obtain good channel even temporarily..

Blind scan sometimes do not get these good stuff!

Once that kind of stuff is posted, it goes away quick. The program providers check forums like this and complain to whoever is uplinking the signal. I just try to blind scan as much as possible.

Also Lyngsat isn't located in the US so they rely on reporters to keep them updated.

That's the best way -blind scan often. And use the "detailed" blind-scan if your receiver has that, sometimes freebies can be found, but they are using such low symbol rates the average scan won't grab them.
