Ok - confirmed it...

If you use the preview function, it previews correctly as-per what you entered, but then it re-formats your post eliminating the blank lines. See attached pic:

That bit me in the butt and I didn't know it was a bug.
And bug it is, sinice it's not logical (regardless if it's documented or not).
Is there a fix?
I sometimes preview to see if I have things working right, and sometimes I don't.
Having that inconsistency is annoying.

Go into the User Control Panel and select one of the other editors.

Well, FWIW the Basic and Std editors both re-format on preview. The Advanced one seems to solve the problem.

Yea, the basic editor is pretty bad.
Ya need the the standard one to do decent editing.
I hadn't bothered to try the advanced one yet, as I was happy with the middle version.

No problem, this new software has so many bells and whitles that it is hard to find things.

A lot of folks are reporting bugs which are actually features and they just need to know where to go to select the way they want things.

Ugh - the advanced editor is annoying - lol. I hate not seeing the tags.

I'll just Post / edit as a work around.
