BBCA Goes HD With Sci-Fi Stack - 2009-06-01 06:00:00 | Multichannel News

BBC America launches its high-definition simulcast channel on July 20, stacking the first week with popular science-fiction shows to grab the attention of fans and cable and satellite distributors, according to channel chief Garth Ancier.

Here's to hoping dish has a TMP channel set aside with BBC HD's name on it. (and that the channel with be a Turbo channel.)

I'd be happy to see it any time from July 20 - on.... and knowing that dish has a good relationship with discovery, I'm foolishly hopeful. Actually, wasn't Planet Green a July network launch, then a dish add August 1?
