‘The Flash': “Welcome You to Earth-2” Images Glimpse the Multiverse http://collider.com/the-flash-welcome-to-earth-2-images-killer-frost/
We’ve spent the entire second season of The Flash watching what happens when the inhabitants of Earth-2 visit Barry’s reality, now with next week’s episode “Welcome to Earth-2?, we’ll finally get a chance to glimpse the multiverse and see what happens when the circumstances are reversed. The Flash will be meeting up with Supergirl in due time, but first he’s making the trek to Earth-2. If you’ve been wondering how the S.T.A.R. Labs crew is faring in the alternate dimension, it’s time for answers. The CW has unvieled a batch of new images from the episode that reveal some interesting circumstances, not least of which is Joe putting on a show and looking dapper as hell in the process. In addition to finally putting Jesse L. Martin‘s gorgeous voice to work at last, the images tease Earth-2 version of Barry and Iris, who look mighty couple-y, along with another apperance from Danielle Panabaker’s Killer Frost and a return from Robbie Amell as Deathstorm. Check it all out in the images below.

WORLDS COLLIDE IN NEW "THE FLASH" PHOTOS; EP COMPARES WALLY WEST TO ROY HARPER http://www.comicbookresources.com/a...lash-photos-ep-compares-wally-west-roy-harper
Team Flash -- or, at least, part of it -- has passed through the breach into Earth-2, and things there are a little different than what they're used to. A handful of new stills from "Welcome to Earth-2," the next episode of "The Flash," reveal some status quo shifts on the other side -- including a new, action-packed role and perhaps even an engagement for Iris West.Additionally, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg addressed whether we'd see three speedsters at once at some point on the show. "I guess that could happen down the road," he told Entertainment Weekly, comparing the way Wally West might become Kid Flash to Roy Harper's development into Arsenal. "I wouldn't want to say no, but so much of that stuff is a little bit further into the future than we've planned for right now."

The Flash and Supergirl are set to air a crossover episode next month. The Flash and Supergirl executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg made the announcement on Monday in a statement to TV Guide.“We are so incredibly excited to announce something that we have dreamed of happening since we starting making Supergirl—The Flash and Supergirl are teaming up!” the statement read. “We want to thank Grant Gustin for making the time to come visit (on top of his already immense workload) and all of the folks at CBS, The CW, Warner Bros. and DC for working this out. And finally, thanks to the fans and journalists who have kept asking for this to happen. It is our pleasure and hope to create an episode worthy of everyone’s enthusiasm and support.”This is the first time Supergirl has appeared in a crossover episode. The Flash has been included in multiple crossover episodes with Arrow.

The Flash: Danielle Panabaker Teases Killer Frost's Chilling Earth-Two Debut http://tvline.com/2016/02/08/the-flash-season-2-killer-frost-danielle-panabaker-preview/
This Tuesday on The Flash (The CW, 8/7c), Barry, Cisco and Harry — upon arriving on Earth-Two to rescue Jesse Wells from the ominous Zoom — get a chilly reception from that world’s version of Caitlin Snow, who is known as the villain Killer Frost.Sure, she’s got Ronnie at her side again (here as the baddie Deathstorm), but the love of a not-so-good man apparently could not keep the scientist from heading down a dark, cold path. Here, Danielle Panabaker previews her walk on the wild side, Killer Frost’s beef with Barry and the breachers, and what nice Caitlin is up to back home during the two-part trip to Earth-Two.

SURPRISING DC SUPERHERO MAKES CAMEO ON "THE FLASH" http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/surprising-dc-superhero-makes-cameo-flash
Warning: Spoilers follow for this week's episode of "The Flash," "Welcome to Earth-2."As Barry Allen traveled through the Multiverse on tonight's episode of "The Flash," we caught a peek of Melissa Benoist's Supergirl.Because Barry's travelling through the Multiverse, this could confirm that "Supergirl" takes place in an alternate Earth -- as opposed to the one shared by "The Flash," "Arrow," and "Legends of Tomorrow."

Yes, That Was a Legion of Super-Heroes Ring on The Flash https://www.yahoo.com/movies/yes-legion-super-heroes-ring-050105038.html
Earlier this month, Supergirl and The Flash EP and DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns hinted that the Legion of Super-Heroes appearing on one of the TV shows he oversees.A lot of fans assumed that would be DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which launched last week and which boasts time travel as a staple of the show -- but then there were comments that the show wouldn't travel past 2166.While technically the Legion could come back from the future to 2166 or earlier, the reality is almost any version of the 31st Century the Legion might come from, would make Vandal Savage not all of history's worst threat, as he's so far been characterized, but a bump in the historical road.

Supergirl Cameos In The Flash Tonight, And What That Means For Their Crossover Story https://www.yahoo.com/movies/supergirl-cameos-flash-tonight-means-013000012.html
And, since Barry Allen was moving through a breach in the multiverse, it's likely safe to assume that she comes from a different Earth. While many fans assumed that Supergirl and The Flash take place on different Earths because the title of their March 28 crossover episode is "Worlds Finest," without the apostrophe, seeing her out there in the multiverse alongside an alternate Green Arrow and the John Wesley Shipp version of The Flash feels like hard confirmation. The idea that Supergirl exists on a different earth is a mixed bag for fans. It means that the character is unlikely to team up with the grounded and gritty Arrow or the time-traveling DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Legends EP Phil Klemmer recently told reporters that the multiverse was The Flash's thing, and their time traveling will remain on Earth-1 for the foreseeable future.

Did You Catch All The Flash's Earth-2 DC Comics Easter Eggs?http://www.eonline.com/news/738511/did-you-catch-all-the-flash-s-earth-2-dc-comics-easter-eggs
In fact, the writers could've easily packed in approximately 1,000 more winks and nods than they actually did. "We had a giant board of probably 50 ideas and we had to just whittle them down to the bare bones," executive producer Aaron Helbing reveals. And no, you won't get to find out what they couldn't fit, says EP Todd Helbing. "We would tell you, but they'll probably end up in other episodes!"The Flash has always been incredibly accessible for people who haven't read the comics and longtime readers alike, so if you are comics-ignorant, you still probably LOVED the bizarro world in which Barry (Grant Gustin) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) found themselves. In fact, there were also plenty of throwbacks for fans of the show to appreciate.
In no particular order, here are some of our favorite Easter Eggs:

BARRY ALLEN MUST SAVE BARRY ALLEN IN NEW "FLASH" TEASER http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/barry-allen-must-save-barry-allen-new-flash-teaser
Earth-2's Barry and Iris learn the truth behind the events of "The Flash's" last episode and join forces with Cisco, Harry Wells in order to rescue Wells' daughter Jesse and Earth-1 Barry from Zoom's fortress. Luckily for them, Killer Frost isn't feeling warm thoughts for Zoom after seeing her boyfriend killed by the arch-villain, so the evil incarnation of Caitlin Snow joins the team.

Ratings: Flash Hits 14-Month High, Draws Largest Audience in a Year http://tvline.com/2016/02/10/the-flash-earth-two-episode-ratings/
The Flash‘s numbers on Tuesday night were out of this world. And out of the other world, too.
Pending adjustment due to infinitesimal ACC basketball preemptions, the CW’s sophomore sensation drew 3.96 million total viewers and a 1.6 rating (per finals), up 8 percent and two tenths to draw its largest audience in virtually a year (since Feb. 17, 2015) and deliver its best demo number since Dec. 2, 2014 (the first #Flarrow crossover).TVLine readers gave the trip to Earth-Two an average grade of “A+.”

"FLASH" EASTER EGG TEASES MAJOR "JUSTICE LEAGUE" MEMBERS http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/flash-easter-egg-teases-major-justice-league-members
SPOILER WARNING: This article contains spoilers for tonight's episode of "The Flash," "Welcome to Earth-2."Posing as his doppelganger on Earth-2, Barry returns a call to his mother on a phone that lists some pretty important people on his speed dial: Eddie, Bruce, Hal and Diana. While "Eddie" is a nod to Rick Cosnett’s Eddie Thawne, the other names are of course referencing Justice League members Bruce Wayne (Batman), Diana Prince (Wonder Woman) and Hal Jordan (Green Lantern). Here's a screen-cap of the easter egg:

The Flash/Supergirl Crossover Episode: Grant Gustin Shares First Photo http://tvline.com/2016/02/10/the-flash-supergirl-crossover-photo-grant-gustin-melissa-benoist/
Are two superheroes better than one?The upcoming crossover between CBS’ Supergirl and The CW’s The Flash is hoping so, and thanks to Grant Gustin, we now have a first look at the team-up.The Flash star — who will visit the CBS series in the March 28 episode — shared the following photo of himself with Supergirl‘s Melissa Benoist on set in Los Angeles on Wednesday, with the caption, “Those two emblems look pretty good together.”While details of how the titular heroes will cross paths are being kept under wraps, the Girl of Steel’s blink-and-you-missed-it appearance on The Flash this week — she was glimpsed as Barry & Co. traveled through the speed cannon — seemingly confirms she is from an alternate Earth.

Here's our first look at the Supergirl/Flash crossover http://www.polygon.com/2016/2/11/10965654/first-look-supergirl-flash-crossover Faster than a speeding bullet
The Flash will be visiting Supergirl's own National City next month and filming is under way for the crossover episode. The Flash and Supergirl are both shows based on DC Comics characters and share some portion of their creative team — most notably executive producer Greg Berlanti — but Supergirl airs on CBS rather than the CW, so there were some hurdles to leap before locking down a crossover. Certainly more than previous teamups between The Flash and Arrow, which both air on the CW. The news that the two networks had worked out a deal that would allow Grant Gustin's Barry Allen to guest star on Supergirl was broken only last week.Gustin has been posting pictures from the set of the shoot. They don't offer many details, but they do feature him in costume alongside Supergirl star Melissa Benoist.

ATOM AND HEAT WAVE IN CHAINS IN NEW PHOTOS http://www.comicbookresources.com/a...e-in-chains-in-new-legends-of-tomorrow-photos
The next stop on the time-traveling adventure of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" is 1986, with members of the squad captured and imprisoned in a Russian gulag in the midst of the Cold War. In 15 new images released by The CW, the team does not seem to love the '80s -- especially Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) and Atom (Brandon Routh), both seen in chains.

VIDEO: The Flash's Battle with Zoom Heats Up in New Trailer http://www.tvguide.com/news/video-the-flash-battle-zoom-is-coming-trailer/
The fight against Zoom is only going to get tougher, according to a new trailer for The Flash.
Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is currently locked in Zoom's Earth-2 dungeon with the portal to Earth-1 still kaput. But the new "Zoom's Coming" extended trailer shows that he still has a lot to learn before he's ready to take on his toughest opponent yet.Barry will eventually get out of the prison, but his toughest tasks may still be ahead -- including more battles with Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) and some Earth-2 complications stemming from the fact that he's married to Iris (Candice Patton) in the "alternate" universe. In addition, he gets a visit from Arrow's Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson), which means things can only have gotten worse on Earth-1.

New 'Flash' Promo Teases Imprisoned Barry, Female Speedster, Zoom Reveal https://www.yahoo.com/tv/flash-promo-teases-imprisoned-barry-193901316.html
In a brand-new promo for “Escape from Earth-Two” (airing Tuesday at 8/7c) and beyond, we get some Barry-on-Barry action and a quick look at a masked female speedster (Jesse Quick? Trajectory?). Meanwhile on Earth-One, a visiting Diggle is still gobsmacked by speedsters, as King Shark runs (swims? waddles?) rampant and Jay aims to get up to speed for a rematch with Geomancer. And on one world or another, The Flash finds out firsthand how rough life in the Pipeline can be and Zoom seems poised to remove his mask. (It’s gonna be Nora Allen, isn’t it???)

The Flash: Zoom Removes His Mask In Intense New Trailer http://www.cinemablend.com/television/Flash-Zoom-Removes-His-Mask-Intense-Trailer-117937.html
When it comes to superhero series on The CW, The Flash has to be the most lighthearted. When it comes to supervillains, however, The Flash knows how to do scary. Season 2 supervillain Zoom more than made his mark when he broke Barry Allen’s back, and he’s only gotten more unnerving in the weeks since. His identity has remained a mystery, but the new Flash trailer hints that Barry may be learning the truth sooner rather than later as we see Zoom removing his mask. Gird your loins and check it out!

The Flash: Escape From Earth-2 Featurette Teases Earth-2 Barry Allen http://screenrant.com/the-flash-season-2-earth-2-featurette/
In the season 1 finale of The CW’s second series based on DC Comics characters, The Flash, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and the rest of his team at S.T.A.R. Labs opened up a singularity above Central City that became a portal to alternate universes — introducing the concept of the multiverse. In season 2, Team Flash has been facing off against Earth-2 villain Zoom, battling metahuman doppelgängers, and working with the alternate version of Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh). In episode 13 of season 2, ‘Welcome to Earth-2,’ Barry, Cisco (Carlos Valdes), and Harry travel to Earth-2 in an effort to rescue Harry’s daughter Jesse (Violett Beane) from Zoom. However, Barry was captured by Zoom, leaving his friends and their Earth-2 allies to help track down the Earth-1 Flash in episode 14. A new featurette for the upcoming episode delves into how Earth-2 Barry is different from the character fans know, as well as how he’ll help Team Flash. In the featurette (above) for ‘Escape from Earth-2,’ executive producers Todd and Aaron Helbing discuss the team accepting help from the alternate versions of Barry Allen and Iris West (Candice Patton), highlighting the differences and similarities between their Earth-1 and Earth-2 personalities:“At the end of episode 13, Zoom has captured Barry but they don’t know where Zoom’s lair is [and] they don’t know how to find him, so they turn to CSI Earth-2 Barry Allen to lead the way. He’s a bit uptight, but you see how skillful he is, and how resourceful [he is]. You understand he and Iris’ relationship – it all makes sense in this episode.”
