Earlier this year, Vince announced plans for a WWE cable network. At the time, he anticipated that it would launch in mid-2011. Lately, I've heard that the WWE will go to the cable providers in January with a presentation about the channel. My question is, will it be a basic cable channel, or will it be a subscription service like WWE Classics On Demand? I already have WWE Classics On Demand which Comcast charges $7.99 for, and am not too sure if I would necessarily pay extra for a WWE network.
As I understand it, Vince wants to not just show wrestling on it, but also other things like WWE films and a Santino Marella talk show. While the wrestling wouldn't be bad, a lot of this other stuff like the WWE films and sketches are not that great. What are your thoughts?
