Thinking about moving to DirecTV from Dish.... question about HD

For each of DirecTV's programming packages, if you pay the $10/mo HD programming access fee, do you get all of the channels in HD that are in your package in SD that have an HD equivalent carried by DirecTV? Or does DirecTV pick and choose which channels you get in HD? The reason I ask is because on their website, if I sign up for the "Mas Ultra" package, I get Cartoon Network, Disney XD, Hallmark, and Lifetime in SD, but I won't get the HD version of the channel even if I pay the $10/mo HD access fee. Is this right? Seems unfair.

You get what ever HD channels are in your base pack with the English packages.

Spanish packs I don't know for sure.
