Thinking about signing up for Dish but have questions

I just got a response from the ebay seller, and he said that dish sent him the yellow cards right before they canceled the service. He also gave me the numbers off the cards. So I just need to call dish

Is there a certain number to call to find out if there is a balance, and if they can be activated?

Looks legit. I would get the Receiver and Smart card numbers and call Dish just to verify there is no balance. Don't overpay, you can get a refurbished 508 with 1 year warranty for $199.
