I am currently tossing up the idea of tinkering with FTA. I will start of with a couple of questions.

Currently I have access to a Old D* Dish and LNB would these be usefull for abtaining FTA?

Another question are there any radiostations that I may be able to pick up with a setup for FTA?

And what would be required for the basic setup?

Are there any other links with usefull information on the subject?

Thanks

Yes you can use your old D* LNB for some fta programming, soccer and radio channels spring to mind, you will also need a new 30" dish (min.) and a Ku band LNB, most of all you will need a FTA receiver, I would not buy one unless it has a blind search function, also if you intend to motorise it has to be a DiSEqC 1.2 receiver! Check out the link to DMSI on my web site for some more ideas, let us know if we can be of any more help here!
