This Ku band bird on 95 W* with too many MIS signal bogging down my Edison reciever blind scanning time.

Is there a quicker way to get around the junk data feeds?

What is MIS anyway BTw, just curious? :hatsoff

OpenViX has a nice feature to preview what is on transponders in signal finder.
I believe the same is true in TNAP.
What I do is blindscan transponders. Then add them to my Satellites.xml.
Of course compare for no duplicates. Then you can cycle the tp's in signal finder and see if they are actually anything you may be able to receive. Choose the ones you do want to. Then scan.
I would hope someone chimes in with a bit of a multistream tutorial.
In a way a country boy could understand. And if it's possible to receive them.
PLs, Gold, all that blows me away.

I do a TP scan and uncheck the data-only TPs when doing a channel scan so it only scans the new or TPs of interest. Likely doesn't help you much though if it bogs down during the initial TP scan.
Maybe try using EBSPro for scanning (I think you have a USB or receiver card) you can add unwanted TP frequencies to the do-not-scan list so it skips over them during a blind scan. Not sure if you can drop in the EBSPro list to the MIO or not though, have never looked at doing that myself. Guess you could add the good TPs manually and scan them.
