Los Angeles:

Well, I don't know what happened.
KDOC 56 was all geared up to host This TV as the 56.3 subchannel.
It never happened.

Now, KTLA 5 (yes, the superstation) has a promo screen up saying This TV will be coming there.
[ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/This_TV"]This TV - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia@@AMEPARAM@@/wiki/File:This_TV_Network_Logo.png" class="image"><img alt="This TV Network Logo.png" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/f/f1/This_TV_Network_Logo.png/190px-This_TV_Network_Logo.png"@@AMEPARAM@@en/thumb/f/f1/This_TV_Network_Logo.png/190px-This_TV_Network_Logo.png[/ame] also lists KTLA as carrying This TV on 5.2, so you know it must be true.

Yes, KTLA 5 Los Angeles -did- carry The Tube programming for the last 3..9 months of their life!
It was quite pleasant to get it directly off the air.
I think that was on subchannel 5.5, but it's been over a year ago, and I may be wrong.

Blast from the past-lol, used to get KTLA off the big dish years ago. WPIX and KTVT (Texas) in a package with it.

Anyone having problems with the audio today?

ThisTV AMC3 C-Band?

Transedit plays it okay, but I am having trouble with the Pansat 3500 and it's audio. All broken up.

Other channels play fine.

Hmmm!

Well, deleted the channel and scanned it in, and now the Pansat shows it as AC3 audio.

That's why it works in Transedit, and also on my Diamond. Now I'll have to hook up an AC3 decoder in my office. :(

Thanks for the KTLA update! :D
I swear I looked today, or at least yesterday, and saw nothing.
Just missed an Outer Limits episode where six city blocks gets transported to an alien planet.

OTA in LA:

Man, they just can't get their act together.
Last couple of days, KTLA 5.2 has only had the static promo card up, and sound from the shows playing.
Tonight when I checked again, it was black video and no sound!

Wonder if other cities are getting jacked around?
Now would be the time to buy some advertizing time: it'll be CHEAP!

I get it OTA from the Sacramento area and it comes in great for me, the only problem is no program information on my 622's program guide, it only says “Digital Service”

I believe that I'm posting this in accordance with the forum rules since it's listed on Lyngsat. ThisTV is on AMC3 C-band (87.0 west). Video is fine but I'm not getting any audio (Pansat 300A receiver).

The audio is AC-3 so you need an external audio decoder.
I dont know if the 330 will output AC-3 though. Is there a SPDIF output on it?

No. No SPDIF output. I guess I'll have to upgrade to the 9200HD. I wanted to get HD anyway, also.
