update: Los Angeles delay

Ii called the switchboard at KDOC, channel 56, serving LA and Orange counties, this afternoon.
When asked about the MGM station they're supposed to host on 56.3, they forwarded me to Engineering.

Engineering said:
- they're working on it, but still don't have a start-date.
- equipment is on hand and ready to go
- something about the contract...
- KDOC wants to be able to show some of the MGM programming
(maybe they had a pre-existing contract - this may be the rub)

They've had 56.3 on the air since before the first of November (the original start-date), and with a This TV bug, so they're pretty serious and ready.

Where can we get the movie schedule for this network? We are getting it locally on Thursday on WGAL 8.2 here in Lancaster, PA. I can not find a website for this network anywhere.

Have a look in here:

I can't post URLs but maybe it will work that way.

Cheers :D

Go to the site in the above post and set-up an account, it's free. Go into Customize and use WCIU as the channel, any channel number will work, and it will show multiple listings found, go into it and use DT4 for the set-up. Later when your local starts to provide programming info, you can use it as well. Good Luck!

Well, from what I found out that Hearst that's own the station KOAT-DT here in Albuquerque will be carry this new channel!:)

I plan on E-mailing them, when they add the new sub channel.:hungry:

I just found ThisTV on 54.2 (Fox54) Columbus Georgia. I haven't OTA DX'ed in a week or two, so I don't know how long it's been there? But, it wasn't there the last time I DX'ed. I would suspect a New Years beginning? This was formerly a "TUBE" channel, it's had an apology Barker on it from the Tube (actually from Fox54) since it went dark. Glad to see they have programming again. This is a channel I have problems getting during daylight hours, but good reception after dark. I hope they up there power on February 17 and make it accessible to me 24/7.

I was reading that KWWL in Waterloo, IA (iafirebuff's area) is adding it this spring

Looks like Larry gets BOTH This TV & RTN on subchannels (same station)

If KOAT will have a good PSIP program guide for THIS TV, then I"m all for it. Otherwise, Id rather see ABC News Now on a KOAT digital multicast channel.

I live in CR, IA, and you're correct. The RTN is on, but programming is out of usual order like others are claiming. On the old Weather Plus substation, it has the THIS tv network logo, and says coming soon in 2009.

I wish some of my locals would add subchannels instead of SD counterparts...maybe in a month or so ;)
