Tiger Woods withdraws from TPC

Very true!
But you can't turn the clock back.

And although I believe the public will forget/forgive it over time under certain conditions,
his latest performance is an indication that he's broken... maybe for good...

This is not to say he doesn't deserve it...

Diogen.
People will forget/forgive in time, but he is doomed to fail if he keeps trying to rebuild his former public image...that ship has long since sailed.

I think so, too.
And the realization of this being the case is the reason for his today's misery...

Tiger expects full recovery; no timetable

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Tiger Woods said tests Wednesday showed an inflamed neck joint that causes pain and makes it hard for him to turn his head, an injury that will require little more than medicine, massages and rest.

Woods had an MRI exam that revealed inflammation in a facet joint of his neck. He said on his website that when facet joints are inflamed, it causes pain in the area along with headaches and difficulty rotating the head.

For those that wanna continue the conspiracy of pulling out because he was losing.:p

so....your assuming AGAIN. ok....I gotcha....;)

no idea what you mean by this, but whatever...

I'm saying Tiger Woods is a proven liar, and we have no way of knowing if he's telling the truth or not. Kind of the opposite of assuming, actually...

So, Tiger's problem can be easily corrected with regular visits to the local massage parlor. Too funny!!! :D

"Dr. I need a prescription for massage therapy, a bottle of Viagra, and a happy ending to help me rest."

Amazing how he played for months with a torn ACL and meniscus when he was playing well, but drops out of a tournament when he is playing poorly and being heckled.

I saw that and I could not stop laughing.

Have you ever had EITHER injuries?! I have 2 arthroscopic surgeries on my left and 1 on my right. I have all kinds of neck related issues.....and the one that effected me the most when I played baseball was my neck. Trying to swing....it was impossible. Hell, trying to drive my car to the grocery store is nearly impossible.

Yep, I've had both. After retiring from the military I've had surgery to repair ACL and meniscus tearing as well as two arthroscopies. I regret every having the 1st arthroscopy as I can no longer run and do all the stuff I enjoy doing. I refuse to take an drugs, so I just live with the pain and will have both knees replaced when I turn 50 (in three years). Years ago I almost broke my neck playing combat soccer (pushball) while I was in the military. I couldn't do anything other than walk around with my head tilted to the right side. Military medicine prescribed muscle relaxants, which did nothing more than make me lightheaded and drowsy. Since military medicine would not recongnize the chiropractic profession, I basically paid $75 out of my own pocket to visit a chiropractor. This was back in the day when my paycheck was $250 every two weeks. Anyway, an untrasound and spinal alignment relieved the pressure from my neck (nerves) and I was no longer in pain and was practically doing cartwheels out to my vehicle. So yes, I understand how painful it is to tweak a nerve in your neck, but I am sure Tiger Woods has enough money to buy his own team of physicians and chiropractors...so I am not buying his excuse of suffering for weeks with this problem.

You still have those issues because you live UP NORTH. The moment I left Chicago for beautiful South Florida, I have had NO ISSUES with my knees what's so ever. It's not the winter that kills, it's the fluctuating temps in March, April and may..and again in September and October.

As far as not believing Tiger....you are entitled to your opinion.
