well according to my account it showed that i had to pay$6.07 on 5/19/08 with auto pay, the day passed and the payment was still not taken out so i made the payment today 2 days later. is this a glitch on DTV's part or will it be all right that i made the payment now. i had several credits on my account so thats why the payment is so small.

Are you a brand new sub? Was this prorated billing; I mean how log of a billing cycle are we talking about?
i have been on D* for 2 months and i had so many credits applied to my account that i have not had to pay much the first few months that is why i have only needed to make small payments.
Some advice get yourself off autopay right away. There have been tons of stories about D* pulling random amounts of money out of your account. I had them take over $1000 out of my account for a Tivo they said they never got back. It took weeks to get my $1000 back, thank god I kept a copy of the tracking number.
