TIVO code hacks - Help?

Hi,

My brother in law got a tivo today. I know there is a hack to make the fast forward button work as a 30 second skip. Does anyone know how I can find this out for him? He got a series 2 - 80 hour recorder.

Why not get a BUD and get the original signal, not the overcompressed RETRANSMITTED signal the small dish companies use?

I have the Toshiba combo DVD player and TiVO, and haven't been able to get the S-P-S-3-0-S sequence to take. Does it work for this model? Am I supposed to type it as fast as possible, slow&steady, or what?
