Hopefully this is not a dumb question...I want to get a HR21. I also have an older Tivo (RCA DVR40). I'd like to keep that as well.

The problem?

I have only 3 coax wires coming into the house -- 2 to the Tivo and one to an H20. At this time its not feasible to run another coax in as the dish is on my garage (details in another thread from last week, but that's another story) and the fourth wire goes into the garage to a D10.

With that said...can I run the 3 existing (in the house) coax wires as follows: 2 into the HR21 and 1 into the Tivo? If I do this, the Tivo will still record, but only allow me to watch what is being recorded at that time, correct?
