I wanted to know if I bought a HD Tivo from Best Buy would I be able to get all the HD channels that D*offers? I currently have a HR-21 HD DVR
 
Short and long answer

Nope, The HD tivo isn't designed for use with Satellite service, only cable cards thru the cable company. It can't recognize the directv signal. Sorry
