When I got my 508 in February of this year I didn't expect it to revolutionize my life or even change it significantly. I know a 508 isn't a Tivo and never will be, but they do share some common attributes. The main change to my life that I have noticed in the three months that I have had it - I spend way more time watching TV than I ever did before. I find myself sitting in front of the TV on the weekend trying to get caught up on stuff I recorded through the week so that I can free up space on my hard drive. I am not sure exactly how it will affect me long term, but I know I have gained some weight in the last three months. Maybe I need to record some yoga programs!
