when running a side car ku lnb along side a c band lnb on a bud, with a diseq switch...(think i spelled it wrong) is it better to turn the 22kz on for the ku lnb at my stb?:rolleyes::rolleyes:

22KHz would be used if you are using a 22KHz switch or an Universal type LNBF. If your set-up is a standard KU-band LNBF and you are using a Standard type LNBF, the 22KHz menu setting would not be used.

Just for more clarity. Neither a C-band lnb, nor a standard ku-band lnb, nor a diseqc switch cares what you do with a 22khz signal at your stb. That 22khz signal only affects 22khz switches and/or universal lnbs. I leave it off whenever I do not have that type of device in my system.
