Sale 2001--Swann's second annual Space Exploration sale features extraordinary objects, including this chart illustrating the Apollo 11, 12 and 14 moon walks, which is signed and inscribed by Buzz Aldrin, Alan Bean and Edgar Mitchell (shown).

Early NASA items include a 23-reel microfilm archive containing thousands of documents related to the design and structure of the Mercury spacecraft. It is doubtful that a complete set of original Mercury blueprints on paper still exists, and even microfilm sets such as this are scarce (see top illustration); the auction offers many important signed flown items from the collection of
Buzz Aldrin, the second man ever to set foot on the moon, including a U.S. flag flown with Apollo 11 (second illustration); a more personal object, a toothbrush and storage sleeve—one of only two taken to the lunar surface on the Apollo mission—with a typed letter signed by Aldrin (third illustration); a spectacular item from the Apollo 14 mission is a flown "PLSS" strap with lunar dust on it--part of Edgar Mitchell’s gear--was on the moon’s surface for more than 33 hours (fourth illustration); and among items from the estate of astronaut David Brown, who died a year ago in the Space Shuttle Columbia tragedy, being sold for charity is a NASA color lithograph of the Columbia crew signed by all of the flight members (see last illustration).

I know you guys are not into home shopping but I am interested to see how this is going to look. Another note: The PG has been updated and now says Auction HD instead of Treasure HD - the channel name.
Preliminary review: The girl in the studio was completely in HD and looked gorgeous. The Auction itself is SD (small window showing auctioneer). I would like to see the entire room and the action of the auction. This will be an improvement for the future. I guess they don't the equipment to do this.
The prices are outrageous for these items but I guess that the people that goes these auctions are not like me who just barely make a living.
