Transfer to Fire tablet stuck on preparing

I am having a problem transferring a movie to my new Fire HD tablet. It is stuck on waiting to to prepare message in the transfer que on the mobile app. It has been stuck like that for a day now. I tried to cancel it and it does not cancel. I shut down the tablet and restarted it and the movie is still stuck in the que. Do any of you have any ideas?
