I have the dish anywhere app for iphone and it was just updated. I read that part of the update was the ability to transfer shows to iphone or ipad. I opened the app and do not see the option for that. Does anyone know hiw to do that? I have the 722 dvr plugged in to my router ethernet. Thanks.

I think there is some processing that needs to be done for phones and tablets and no pre-Hopper STB has the required horsepower or memory.

Older equipment doesn't have the processing power needed to convert the files for mobile use. Not even the first generation Hopper can. This is strictly a Hopper with Sling feature.
Why not upgrade to a HWS? I just did because one of my old 622's had a hard drive failure. I wish I had done it sooner. It really is worth it.
For some reason on my HWS, I can transfer to my EHD but cannot transfer the content back to the HWS. Anyone have this issue or have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
