TRANSPORTING A HARVESTED DISH

I got the Birdview home today after a 90 mile trip. After doing this several times, thought I would share the best method I have found to take a dish home without disassemble at the site. Heavy duty, new condition, "bungee cords" attached at 4 angles to a truck or trailer. I have found that ropes are difficult to get the slack-out-of without a lot of pressure on the dish. I also attach ropes just in case of a bungee cord fails. I have driven at 60 mph with a 10 footer and never had any problems.

Yeah that how I hauled mine in my 79 GMC (which came with Identical side rails that I removed)...Good idea bungee cords, I use those frequently as they come in handy...
