Yes, you align to a Sat as close to Your Longitude as possible:
Dishpointer.com, enter you location, select your Motor from the bottom of the Sat List, click GO.

The switch must be located after the motor......

Receiver-------------Motor---------------Port1-------------"L" port on LNB
...........................................................Port2-------------"C" port on LNB

"You" must set up each Sat in the receiver with proper info
Linear Sats:
LNB: Standard or Single
LNB Freq / L.O.: 10750
DiSEqC: 1
Motor: USALS, enter you Long and Lat

Circular Sats:
LNB: Standard or Single
LNB Freq / L.O.: 11250
DiSEqC: 2
Motor: USALS, enter you Long and Lat

thanks !! for this usefull thread i have learned a lot of what you have provided me thanks again.

question once i find my first satellite how does the others come in does the moter runs and stops when each satellite come in how ???

the receiver calculates the exact amount of degrees to rotate either east or west and then sends a command instructing the rotor to rotate to XX.X degrees either clockwise or counterclockwise accordingly.
