hi PBS my wife is giving me grief over why it takes so long but i will keep trying thanks for the encouragement it all helps (my lnb is mt AP8 XT2 )

AP8 XT2 so its a universal, the L.O. should be set at 09750, if you have not already done so, and remember a universal will not work with a signal meter, you would need a standard ku LNBF for an installer to use to point your dish, but if you are using the receiver and a TV to point the dish as long as you set the L.O. to the above you are good.

The Hotdish elevation mark is useless...I have a 76cm Hotdish and it took me a while to get it to work

I think they say the middle of the elevation screw is what elevation is..
