Please someone tell me how to do a Dish N' Up from a 622 to 722k, I have talked to several CSR's today and each one tells me a different story. #1 it would cost me $50 and I would have to upgrade my 501 to a 211, will not go this route. #2 No mention of the 501 but would cost me $125 installed, told him I can do the install myself, that the price quoted shipped would be $75 plus $30 for OTA module. He said sorry it has to be installed for $125. I said No thank you. Live Chat wouldn't even give me any option. So what is a person to do?? I have been a Dish customer for 10 years, auto pay for $97 a month. Is there another way to go?? Hope someone can give me some advise as to what to do next. I am having problems with my 622 timer, that is the reason for the upgrade at this time. I have no committment.

Call the Customer Loyalty Department, 1-888-683-6074. Did you recently get a mailer about programming and equipment rewards? Tell them you are a long term sub and would like to trade up. They will probably tell you the deal is for the 622 but "beg" to get them to let you re-commit.. I got a deal last weekend I should not have gotten. Be real nice. Ask them about programming deals as well.

I just did that offer to the 622 for free. That's what the offer is. The explained it to me that to go from what we had (dual tuner SD DVR) to the 622 would be free. They install the new dish and new tuner free. However to get the 722 which only difference is a bigger harddrive, it would cost $125. Not for installation, but for the unit itself difference even though you still lease it. Made no sense to me, but since the only difference is a bigger harddrive, you can just put one in yourself cheaper.

If you look at the offer, they are saying the DVR is a $130.00 value. When I challenged them that a normal DIU 722 was $75.00 shipped and that the mailer was somewhat deceiving, they changed their tune...I got a 722K.

KAB, that was what I was trying to get across to them, that the DIU was $75 shipped, I told him that was what it read on their web site. But he would not back off the $125. It makes no sense for them to have this on their web site in black and white and they won't let you have it for that price.

Did you call the number I gave you?
