Anyone in PA have TuffTV over ku-band? I was just wondering how hard it would be to lock on using a 76cm dish and microHD receiver. I have a universal LNB .02db i believe.
I'm sorta near scranton.

You need at least a 10ft dish to get those reliably.I am in North Central W.Va. I have been watching Ku-band satellite programming with my Pansat 9200HD. It usually works well. I have been thinking of getting a 2nd larger C-band dish with a C-band LNBF. I would start by pointing at SES 2 and watching some of the programming on TP 15--it almost reminds of Galaxy 18 at 123W. Remember those days?
My question is how large a dish would I need? I have been researching this question but I've been coming up with contradictory answers.
Thanks in advance.
John

If you can only find a 7 footer then that should work for you, getting a 8,10, or 12 footer would give you better coverage across the entire band in the long run, but they can be harder to locate in certain areas and may cost you more.. I can get it just fine with my dish.
