hey, what a rip,, i bought a 1880s farmhouse, and i did not get a BUD......

that's sad! They renovated that farm house, they should renovated their TV setup with a FTA receiver and an LNBF that supported KU if they didn't have one already!!!!!

We should send him an email that it's a disgrace that he slaughtered a nice dish for a ugly house that doesn't fit into the country style.

This sentence makes me sad when some call it ugly and unattractive.

One of the more unattractive things they left us was a 1980's-vintage satellite dish (AKA "BUD" or "Big Ugly Dish")

Sheesh. How dare he call the C-Band dish "unattractive". They are always a beautiful sight. I wonder what he does for TV now that he destroyed the satellite dish. Probably one of those ugly 18" frying pans :)

the guy up the street from me had a perfect 10 foot mesh sami with a bad actuator who took it to our local metal recycling center and got a whopping $6.00 out of it!

I told him I would have given him 50 dollars for it to get it out of his yard.

what a shame!

oh and by the way what was the remark "redneck yard ornament" in the link?

dumba$$ people with their cable tv and pizza pans!

"hey lets not have a "redneck yard ornament" but pay twice or three times the money for a degraded picture and audio from the cable and pizza bandits!:D
