I have tried everything it is in dual mode. Shared view disabled. Set to the correct channel. If I run RCA TV2 works fine. I have even run a coax straight from TV2 out to TV2 with the result. Box has been replaced. Any help would be useful

What channel do you have the TV2 set on? 60 for TV2 62 For TV1 both show the TV1 Icon
Power the TV off, then back on to confirm. Done

Also, what receiver model are we working with? Sorry 722k

Also this was my 2nd day of training and my trainer has 9 years with Dish

Go to menu-6-1-5 and turn off TV1's modulator. Can you also confirm that the mode says "Dual Mode" in the system info screen? Or, if the TV2 can go to channel 73, change the modulator setup to cable

Not sure I understand your question

The receiver output is set on the Local Channels screen and can be off-air or cable, some tv's will scan what is set. If receiver is set to off-air, tv should be set to antenna. If the tv is set to cable and tv1 is on a low channel number while tv2 is on a higher channel number the tv will pick up tv1 but not tv2.
