TV2 Remote

When I press the SAT button, the RED light is not on and it doesn't work. When I press the other 3 lights, TV/VCR/AUX, it turns RED. I change the batteries twice and it still doesn't work.

Can someone help???

You sure the red LED for the SAT button just isn't dead? After pressing SAT, have you tried using the remote to control your receiver even though it's not lighting up? Could just be a bad LED, which in that case, the remote functions would still work, just no LED lighting up. If this is the case, call DISH up and get a new remote!!!

Are you under a warranty? If not you can buy DHPP for $5.99/mo. then cancel.

No I did not get the warranty. If I cancel, are they going to charge me downgrade fee?

Have you double checked the remote address on the remote and the info screen? Sometimes when the batteries go dead the remote switches back to one while tv2 stays with it's different number.
