Hey,
Anyone have an issue with tv2 cable connection? The cable broke away from the dish box and since I have tried to connect it back, it wont screw in so I have temp tried tape glue which has worked but the picture is snowy. I wondered if a new cable will help if so what kind? Otherwise anyone have any other ideas? Is there some internal piece that holds on to wires that could be missing? Thanks for any help, I appreciate it.

Yes, a new cable would clear up your picture again. You can use pretty much any kind of coax cable with the Tv2 connection (rg6 or rg59).

I presume that the RF (cable) connector on the back of the receiver was not damaged, that the damage was to the cable itself, pulling out of the screw-on connector.

If so, a new cable will fix it.

If the RF connector in the back of the receiver is damaged, the receiver will need to be replaced.
