TV2 volume for 722

I have a 722 that has another TV connected to TV2 via the coax connection. The picture is fine (SD) but the volume is very low (max on TV and still miss some dialog). Other than getting external speakers, is there a way to increase the volume from the 722?

I don't think there is a way to increase the volume from the receiver. I would try a different TV and see if you have the same problem.

You might check Menu+6+7 for Line Mode vs RF Mode and the Dolby vs PCM state (usually Dolby/PCM).

Does not apply to TV2. That's for optical output.

IF you use RF mode and not LINE mode , it will make the sound louder on Tv 1 and Tv 2 outputs. I have tested this and it does make a difference.

Check the TV settings too. Both of my samsungs have some settings for something like simulated stereo and volume leveling. ( Sorry, been awhile since I did it ) I used to get really low volume from my bluray and it was because of that.

Just saying that it might be an option in the TV.
