i don't know if nbc has made an official announcement yet. but it appears saturday night alum jimmy fallon will replace conan o'brien when conan takes over the tonite show next year.

i did see a blurb about this at orlandosentinel.com friday, a day after tvguide.com first reported. i liked fallon alot when he was on snl. however, his career has pretty much tanked since. i'm thinking there were other better candidates out there......ellen, maybe even jon stewart or stephen colbert.

yeah I thought conan was taking over leno and carson daly taking conan, essentially mvoing everyone down and hour

I wonder if Leno will know what to do? He hardly ever stops working. The Tonight Show has very few reruns, he really stepped it up from Carson. Late night takes a lot more weeks off during the year.
