According to Directv's website, tvN is being added to the Korean package on Dec 16, Channel 2086. Directv has really cornered the market with Korean programming on satellite. Since adding KBS and now tvN, there hasn't been any price increase to the package yet and hopefully it'll stay that way (wishful thinking)? I know there are people here with the package, so I thought this might be of interest if you didn't know yet.

I wonder if this is a direct feed of the actual tvN channel or if it is an International/Americanized version. SNL Korea is broadcast on this channel and is exactly like it sounds, Saturday Night Live Korea, and is licensed from SNL/NBC and follows basically the same format and it looks almost identical to the show here down to the intro.

tvN is owned by CJ E&M, the largest South Korean entertainment company.

With KBS added in Sept, the lowest price should be atleast $30+. It is a better deal on TV rather than renting at the video store except the new programs are 3-6 weeks old on TV with English sub on the soap opera.
