How does the new Two Room System resolve competition between the receivers for LNBF control? Are the receivers completely independent?

Its in the LNB's ;)

There is now a 2 output LNB. This allows you to run 2 (or more) receivers off the LNB. So if you have 2 receivers they can select either 101 or 97

it looks like this (courtesy of the switch diagrams in the FTA area)

That is to control more than 2 receivers. The Glorystar setup comes with 2 diseqc switches (like what you have already)

Glorystar systems are now shipped with either an Ecoda 22KHz 2x1 or an Ecoda 22KHz 4x4 switches. 8 - 128 receiver options are also available!

We found that many installers blew the DiSEqC switches during the install when not turning off the master power during switch insertion. To eliminate the highest cause of installation failures and resulting increase in telephone technical support, the Ecoda switch distribution was implemented. Switch related issues are now all but eliminated!

DiSEqC switches are so dang sensitive to voltage. Guess that's why they're so inexpensive, compared to the DishPro switches which just about can't be killed.
