What happened to U.S. Tennis? For years we were treated to great matched with the likes of Connors, McEnroe, Agassi, Sampras and even Courier. We stood head-and-shoulders above the rest of the world with their Borgs, Beckers, Lendls and Edbergs. Now, we have one player in the Top 20.
I used to get into Tennis mode whenever the Glad Slams were on television...especially the U.S. Open, but it's hard to get excited about watching Djorkovic, Nadal and Federer.
Hopefully we see some U.S. Players winning some Grand Slam events soon. We haven't won one since 2003. Yikes!
