I just took a unimesh 7.5 dish down, is this dish really called a 8 footer? Its in pretty good shape other than me injured one of the panels taking it down, but I think it should be a easy fix. she didn't have any boxes for it, lnb is fixed, came with motor. I left the pole, my saw broke on me cutting a bolt, told her I`ll be back for it or I will cut it for her, well need to go back for the mount anyway, this was like 4 miles from my house.

I always get a lot of flack for telling folks to dig up the pole.
A number of creative ways have been posted.
But if you can rescue it, you can save between $50-$200 getting a replacement!
.
Post some pictures.
The guys will have suggestions on refurbishing the dish 'n mount.
(repainting isn't mandatory)
.
?Congratulations. :up

yeah that's what I was thinking on the pole, how high can I go, before I run into problems? the pole really didn't look in good shape, looks like the rust got the best of it. I don't have anything into this yet anyway.
