unusual looking dishes

Check out the BTV1 channel on 89w ku , there's some still shots of some big dishes scrolling, some strange looking like big cones.

Interesting. Sort of looks like the attachment.

Seems like the thing on the struts is a reflector. And, the feed is mounted on the dish.

Wonder why the back of the dish is enclosed. Could it be heated inside?
