Upgraded, but did I get screwed....

Ok, so I have an 811, 522 and 311. I have top 250 w/ locals and the old HD package. My total without taxes is $94.95.

I just upgraded to a 722 and keeping the 522. Keeping the same programming, but getting the newer HD package which is 20 a month. So she said after the rebates and stuff, my bill will be $10.98 more a month.

Does that sound right to you all?

Yea that soundsalmost correct with the difference in the HD package, and the additional DVR fee offsetting the additional outlet fee you saved by going to a second dual tuner box.

Sounds like too much to me. I have the dvr advantage plan which breaks down as follows..

dvr advantage w/at 250 $59.99
hd package $20.00
plus your additional receiver $ 6.00

total $85.99

his additional receiver is also a dvr so if he were to do the dvr advantage to save $3.98 he'd add another $5.98 for the second dvr fee

He has the 250 channel package. The $3.98 savings on the DVR Advantage is only with the smaller packages.

I have the DVR advantage and 250 package and I save the $3.98. Just got my first bill with it on there.

With the AT100 package DVR Advantage saves you a whole $0.97, but they needed to install a new dish for my locals for $59.00 - so I said no thanks.
