Does this mean that Manchester NH will now / soon be in HD with the Boston HD LiLs? Wouldn't that be an additional ABC HD for Boston LiLs or is something else going on?

I know it's in the Boston DMA but it's also listed as SV for all of NH and part of Vt, could that mean the Burlington, Vt HD LiLs are any closer?

The two WMURs are in the "Significantly viewed" channel range. My guess is that one channel is for the Portland, ME TV Market counties in New Hampshire and the other is for the Burlington VT TV Market Counties in NH.

WMUR is one of the local channels that was all but named specifically in the SHVREA as a channel that can be sold in the entire state regardless of TV market designations.

Muxing together Wausau, WI and Wichita falls, TX... looks like my LiLs going to stay on 129.

Dish Network solution to the one dish problem. Find a slot that is hard to get in to where you cannot receive them all from one dish anyways in many cases to where they would only have to have the dish at 61.5/148 repointed to the new location such as 129.

2 Questions Tony:

1. Since they're assigned to the 63xx numbers, I assume they're intending to include it in 2 HD LiL packages. Boston HD LiLs is already up but neither Maine nor Vt are but Vt IS included in the list of 50. Does this possibly indicate that Burlington HD LiLs are possibly just around the corner even though a couple of the the big 4 stations don't even have digital capability yet?

2. Would / could they include WMUR-DT in the Burlington DMA but ONLY provide to the NH residents of that DMA?

That section of the 6XX:mad:6234 and 6233) numbers is for Significantly Viewed SD Channels and not associated with HD in any way.

I suppose I'll have to get an Mpeg4 receiver to get the NFL HD I previously received on my 6000. :(

Maybe I missed it, but I thought the first new HD would be FOOD.

Don't get me wrong, I like to eat, but never really cared for FOOD network. I just thought I remember hearing that was coming soon?

Great to see HGTV, NG, and STARZ up there, all three are something I enjoy.
Now, just need to get the Detroit HD networks up there, and that new Dish1k+.

DAMN! 4 new HD's at once?? I was lucky to get 4 new channels period in a year with Comcast!

Thanks John! Excellent news.

(As we always do, too bad MHD wasn't in there too!) :D

And yes, Food HD isn't launched yet.

6300 starts the HD LIL
6200 starts the SV channels :)

Thanks John & Ice, I didn't know that. Blinded by desire I guess.:)

WMUR-DT is one of those channels I used to see an OTA signal of 49 to 55% on my 811 (even locked in for a few seconds once) but not even a flicker with my 942 or 622, so I'd given up.

During this last round of flooding, it was the only channel continually updating hazard reports about roads & bridges closed around HD & VT but Dish has only provided it with the Boston Locals.

I've seriously considered "moving" from the Burlington DMA to Boston's until we get our own HD LiLs but am not sure the spot beam will reach the central Vt / NH border.
